Drill directionally to a point in space that converges near the blowing well’s casing or BHA, within the detection distance of the ranging technologies.

Intercepting Target

Interception phase starts after installing the last casing of the relief well. Drill to intercept the blowout well and gain hydraulic communication to perform the well kill operations

K&M plan and monitor the incidence angle and highside to the blowout well at the intercept point, recommend the required Dog Leg, anticipate any blowout well positioning issue,  and supervise the directional company.

Dynamic Killing Operations

Killing operation phase establishes communication between the relief well and the target well by hydraulic communication, milling, or perforating. The killing mud is pumped into the blowout well to stop the flow
